The rainforest is home to a huge number of animal and plant species and is an important part of our global ecosystem. The destruction of the rainforest has extreme effects on us as well: CO2 is released into the atmosphere, worsening global warming. But for us, the rainforest seems far away and we often forget that we also have a responsibility to protect it. For this reason, the Oro Verde Tropical Forest Foundation has launched the "When Trees Speak" campaign and invites organizations and institutions to emulate it.
In a craft project, signs are made, which are then attached to native trees in public places. On the signs, the respective tree asks for the support of its "family members" in the rainforest. A creative action that attracts attention and hopefully collects donations for Oro Verde's rainforest projects.
