The master's program Bioeconomy at the University of Hohenheim is offered across all faculties and teaches students what our economy can and must look like in the future in order to enable humanity to live sustainably on earth. The curriculum includes economic as well as social science and ecological content, the interrelationships of which are examined at both the micro and macro levels.

The program is the first study of bioeconomics in Europe. The language of instruction is English and the standard duration of study is 4 semesters.
