The city of Stuttgart would like to support those citizens among us who face greater challenges in the area of (climate-friendly) mobility.

Stuttgart citizens with limited mobility can therefore apply for a subsidy when purchasing or leasing an e-tricycle. The subsidy amounts to a maximum of 50% and up to 1,500 euros. The prerequisite is that the e-trike is used by the applicant for at least three years and is identified by a sticker as an e-trike subsidized by the city of Stuttgart. For low-income households that have a Stuttgart FamilienCard and / or a Bonuscard + Culture, the basic subsidy can be increased.

A Stuttgart FamilienCard entitles the holder to an additional 500 euros in funding, while a Bonuscard + Kultur entitles the holder to an additional 1,000 euros in funding. The maximum funding amount would thus be 2,500 euros.

If the E-Trike is in use beyond the three-year period of use, a further subsidy of 500 euros can be granted. The prerequisite for this is that the e-trike demonstrably replaces a car - the applicant and the members of his household must not have registered a car during the subsidy period or must have deregistered a car in the last three years without registering another car to replace it.
