A rapid mobility turnaround is essential to meet the Paris climate targets. However, this also poses major challenges for many established companies in the automotive and supplier industry. Here, the state of Baden-Württemberg would like to support companies that invest in elaborate research projects aimed at developing solutions for sustainable mobility offerings with the High-Tech Mobility Innovation Voucher.
The funding amount is up to 20,000 euros, but covers a maximum of 50% of the eligible costs.
The High-Tech Mobility innovation voucher can be applied for by companies
- which employ a maximum of 100 employees, are located in Baden-Württemberg and whose turnover does not exceed the sum of 20 million euros.
- Companies that employ a maximum of 250 employees, are located in Baden-Württemberg and whose turnover does not exceed 50 million euros. For this company size, however, it is a prerequisite that the company cooperates with a start-up and assumes the role of R&D service provider for the latter.
Applicants can receive a total of two high-tech mobility innovation vouchers.
The funding places a special focus on automated driving, IoT, safety, battery and drive systems, charging technologies, components for electromobility, new manufacturing plant technologies, and logistics solutions that conserve resources.

Specifically, funding is provided for the commissioning of external R&D facilities and material costs incurred for development services within the company.
