At their regional meeting on April 3, 2024 in April, the Scientists for Future Stuttgart will be looking at the combination of the production of agricultural products and energy to increase benefits.

They say: "Using specific case studies, we will shed light on the situation of farmers in Germany. What do they decide in their day-to-day work with regard to the use of their land? What do they have to weigh up? What challenges do they have to face in their land use strategies to adapt to climate change? What solutions are there?"

Together - under scientific guidance - various adaptation strategies and solutions relating to agri-PV will be analyzed. "We examine them in terms of ecology, economy and their social impact. We look at specific applications and their implications for society as a whole. We look at opportunities and possible risks," the invitation states.

The keynote speaker is Dr. Christoph Glawe. He will report from his practical experience as head of in-house photovoltaic development for a renewable energy project developer. He has a degree in physics and a doctorate in mathematics. Among other things, he researched modeling methods for turbulent and atmospheric flows. Today, he is very familiar with renewable energy systems.
